Obama or McCain?

As we go farther into the future with Obama as our President (at least the United States'), who did you vote for?

Do you think we'd be off better with McCain than Obama as our president, or worse?

And, more importantly, would you still vote for Obama, if you did? Recent polls show that over a million people have voted AGAINST Obama's policies and such presently-what's your opinion?

Opinions are always welcomed- thank you!

  1. I initially supported McCain as I agree with more of his polices, one being Iraq. I believe if we pull out we will leave the country of Iraq to some sort of destruction or takeover or both. Either way it will not be good for the people of Iraq and we should not just abandon them and leave them practically helpless.

Although I supported McCain I really liked Barack because he is such a great, motivational speaker. I would have preferred it if McCain won but I am not upset about the election, I think that Obama will do great and so far I think he has done a good job running the country though I admit that I haven't followed his actions much and I think he may be just the guy we need in these tough times. A leader that is as I said very inspirational and a great leader and face of the nation.

Any others? Who did YOU vote for? Would you still vote for him today? C'mon people...opinions are the only way we can start this. :D

  3. I voted for Obama- my first time voting. I believe I made the right choice.I like that he has republicans on his cabinet, I like the ambitious nature of the stimulus (all the scientific research, factories, roads and rails seem like good "pork", to me), I like that people in other countries like him, I like that he is bringing the troops home in a timely manner, satisfying neither Republicans nor Democrats. I especially like recovery.gov where we can track the stimulus money.
& being a "rock star"(as some of his critics have dismissively put it) is important in a leader--I love his smoothness, his crisp diction, his "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" air.
In short, I am happy so far & I think this man can take us places if he does his best.
Over a million people voting against his policies doesn't really signify much (although their opinion is important) he had over 60 million voters.

  4. Alright, I agree with that...VERY TRUE that he did have over 60 million voters for him. His oratory skills are, I do agree, very smooth and a pleasure to listen to.

Anyone else? I note we have a few others following this blog, but have yet to see their opinions on it...?

Your opinion is always counted and appreciated- as we start up this blog with a little more spark and flare (which currently yes, it's not the most exciting thing as I've been very busy of late), we can and will expand.

    Thanks!
